A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Bea (Bee-uh, short for Beatrice)! Thanks so much for visiting my website! I'm an actress and singer currently based in New York City. I recently graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah, but I'm originally from sunny Sarasota, Florida.

I was in my first play at my preschool when I was three years old. It was a toy box-themed revue of sorts, and the parents had to sign us up for our roles. I wanted to be a doll SO badly, but my mom was late as usual to sign-ups, and I was stuck playing the teddy bear, who my teacher insisted was the lead and therefore the STAR. I wasn't convinced, but one pink teddy bear costume and one (1) stage experience later, I was sold for life on live theatre. The energy, the creativity, the magic- I was in love, and my parents quickly put me in classes at a local professional theatre. The rest is history!

I love live theatre. I love its ability to promote social discourse, dialogue and potential change. Human beings are meant to be storytellers, and when we get to reflect the human experience in a way that reaches people and speaks to them- there's nothing like it. 

 

When not performing, you can often find me hanging out with my goofy pet bunny Stormy, probably sitting in the living room together watching Grey's Anatomy or Bridgerton. I'm the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the world, and I read about a book a week. I feel most at home near any major body of water (it's the Florida girl in me). If you read all the way through that, congrats! Can you tell I'm an extrovert?
